EGGLESS JAM CAKE

Ingredients

    1. All Purpose Flour / Maida – 3 1/4 cup / 420 grams
    2. Sugar – 1 cup / 200 grams
    3. Baking Powder – 2 tsp
    4. Oil – 1 cup / 240 ml
    5. Vanilla Essence – 2 tsp
    6. Milk – 2 cup / 480 ml
    7. Jam – 3/4 cup (any jam as you like)
    8. Icing Sugar as needed for dusting

Method

Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Oil two round baking pan, dust it with flour and tap off the excess. Set this aside. Take flour, sugar, baking powder in a bowl and mix well. Add in oil, milk, vanilla and mix well to a smooth batter. Pour this into the prepared pan and bake for 35 to 45 mins till done. Remove it from oven and let it cool completely. Now invert it to a cooling rack or plate. Sandwich the two cakes with some jam and dust the top with icing sugar.
